Why your help is so important 

Each Assistance Dog costs in the region of €12,000 to train and support for life.  We are committed to our policy of making no charge to the disabled person for the dogs training.  Irish Dogs for the Disabled receives no government funding and we rely entirely on donations to carry out our work. 

What your money buys

€100 buys leads, collars and identity discs

€200 buys jackets and specialised harnesses

€500 covers veterinary care including spaying/neutering a dog

€500 covers the cost of client assessment

€2,500 covers the cost of socialisation of a dog

€12,000 covers the cost of training a working dog/client partnership
